New Client – Jeff Timmons

Jeff-Timmons_277x3001Michael Blakey is now the manager of Jeff Timmons, the founding member of the Grammy-nominated, internationally-acclaimed, multi-platinum-selling vocal group 98 Degrees, to a management deal, which has sold over 15 million albums, with four Top 5 radio singles.

The group has produced such mega hits as “The Hardest Thing”, “I Do”, “Because of You”, and the No. 1 hit single “Thank God I Found You,” which is a collaboration with Mariah Carey.

After his stellar success with 98 Degrees, Jeff has ventured out as a soloist, and single-handedly wrote and produced his first solo album which was released as a joint venture with Rising Phoenix and SLG Music. The album’s first single produced a top 20 hit on both the Billboard adult contemporary and R&B charts with the song “Whisper That Way.”

This song reached No. 1 in many major markets out-performing Usher’s “Burn”, and Alicia Keys “If I Ain’t Got You.” The album also produced three additional chart-topping singles worldwide. In 2010, a single entitled “Emotional High” leaked to the radio international and went No. 1 in 14 countries.

New signing: Brett Butler

id_Butler_01.jpgMichael Blakey is now an official manager of Brett Butler, an American actress. America caught a glimpse of the deep-voiced, sharp-talking Southerner Brett Butler when she made her first appearance on The Tonight Show in 1987. Brett’s acting career really took off when TV producers saw her act and cast her as the lead in a new sitcom, Grace Under Fire. The show premiered in 1993 and was one of the most successful shows on television until it ended in 1998.
Brett has made numerous television appearances, guesting on My Name Is Earl in 2006 and having a supporting role in the action thriller Vampire Bats (2005). Brett is currently starring on the hit TV show Anger Management.

Michael Blakey has recently signed Traci Bingham to a personal management deal with Electra Star Management.

Traci Bingham is an American actress, model and television personality, best known for playing Jordan Tate on the television series Baywatch between 1996 and 1998.

Bingham began her career in minor acting roles. Aside from Baywatch, Bingham’s appearances include the television series D.R.E.A.M. Team and Beverly Hills, 90210, and the film Demon Knight. She also played minor roles in the popular American sitcoms The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Married with Children.

Michael Blakey signs Carmine Appice to a management deal

June 4, 2013Michael Blakey announced a signing of the world renowned drummer Carmine Appice to a management deal. One of the premier showmenin rock, Appice became known worldwide for his astonishing live performances, in addition to becoming a highly sought-after session drummer, recording with countless artists throughout his career. In ’76, he joined Rod Stewart’s band, touring, recording and writing two of Stewart’s biggest hits, “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” and “Young Turks.” He left Stewart to record his first solo album, Rockers, and tour Japan and North America with an allstar band. In the early ‘80s, he toured with OZZY Osborne, Ted Nugent. In the mid ‘80s, he formed King Kobra for two Capitol albums and international touring And in the late 80s, Carmine played on a Pink Floyd record “Momentary Lapse of Reason and formed Blue Murder with Whitesnake’s John Sykes and The Firm’s Tony Franklin. In the early ‘90s, he pounded away soul-style for The Edgar Winter Group.
